Our Conferences

The Financial Counsellors’ Association of Queensland Inc have been running annual conferences for a number of years. Over the years our conferences have successfully built a strong networking system among Financial Counsellors, Financial Capability Workers and the community and have assisted with counsellors professional development.

The objectives of our conferences are to identify the financial issues of consumers in the community and develop strategies for assistance; promoting the study, training and on-going professional development of Financial Counsellors; promoting financial counselling generally within the community, including establish standards of training and expertise for Financial Counsellors.
