Susan Cook from Moneycare has won the Jan Pentland Prize at the 2018 Financial Counselling Australia Conference held in Hobart. 

Susan Cook from Moneycare has won the Jan Pentland Prize Winner at the 2018 Financial Counselling Australia Conference held in Hobart. 

Susan Cook works for Moneycare (Salvation Army) as a Financial Counsellor (Problem Gambling).

Susan is a Aboriginal/ South Sea Islander lady who has been working as a financial counsellor for over 20 years.

 

Susan Cook is a member of the Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander Group that represent Indigenous financial

Counsellors/capability workers. Susan has been a mentor for many Indigenous people entering into

The financial well-being sector.

 

Susan was the Guest Speaker for the 2017 FCAQ Annual Conference and received a standing ovation from

the audience in recognition of her services to the financial counsellor sector and her contribution as a mentor

to many Indigenous and non-Indigenous financial counsellors.
